LETTERS FROM PATRONS
Is my original painting one of your work? I purchased it in Ennis, Montana some years ago. Had stared at it every time I visited Ennis (I was living in Willow Creek, Montana) but could not
afford it. Then one Friday afternoon a couple in the gallery was trying to decide which of your
works would go best with their new couch. Couldn't believe that a couch took presidence over a
painting. Actually, I was furious. So I went to the counter and said that I'd like to purchase the painting, at which time the couple, having made a decision, also claimed the painting. But I
was first.
Needless to say I could only put $50.00 down with a promise to pay it off in a year and God love
the owner who said that this was fine with him.
It's now in Arizona. I love it as I've always loved it. But the other painting, one of an Indian
woman wearing bright orange/red, horseback, also is imprinted on my memory.
