This piece is one of those "crazy happenings" that happen whenever you go out painting!
My friend Carolyn and I met in a town west of here, and after walking and sketching for over an hour, we both decided to do this little house. Just as we set up to paint, a train came by...which just happened to be between us and the building! Need I say more? Well, it pulled in, and cleared our view. We began to paint. Then it backed up and stopped. Then it pulled forward, again, then backed up...AGAIN! And Again, and again! It must have pulled forward and backed up for over an hour! We couldn't believe it! Actually, it just made the light that much better when we were finally able to paint!
