In these Still Life studies, you can also learn how to take a "theme" and lace it throughout a single painting, as I did here, with the silhouette of the right side of the flowers, contrasted against the laciness of the white flowers on the left side; the activity of the right, to the quiet of the left. All the shapes in the top area, against the simplicity of the bottom.
