Then into my second winter,
as I was still baffled, looking at the snow, and getting a head ache over it,
I looked up into the over cast sky, and suddenly, out of the corner of my eye,
I could see the colors!!
And for the first time, I could mix those on my palette!
What I learned, was that you can see colors better,
if you do not look directly at them,
but concentrate on them as you look at the colors adjacent to them!
And also, comparing colors in areas across the canvas from what you are working on...
and asking yourself,
"is it more blue, more yellow, more red, or more green?
