| MT. SAC From a Distance 48x48 PLEIN AIR PAINTING |
In creating the large mural for Mount San Antonio College, in Walnut California, I spent over 2
months in the Southern California area, creating paintings that could possibly be used for the
mural. This creation was one that became the left hand side of the mural, with a few alterations.
All of the creations for MT SAC were done on location, using the landscapes en plein air, and the
foreground trees from hundreds of photo-documented eucs that I drove about 300 miles "collecting"
in order to create the mural for the Founders Hall at MT SAC.

Your works of art at the Clymer Museum show were wonderful. So much
joy and happiness was
apparent in each one of your works
that I had very positive warm feelings while viewing your
show.
The comments I heard while there were very, very positive also.
Everyone seemed to
feel the energy and happiness
you have included in your paintings.
As a major American plein aire painter and teacher,
you are at the top in my opinion..
Good luck in all of your future projects and shows.
The art world needs you as a guiding light of what is possible
to accomplish when you love
being an artist
with all of your heart and soul.
