FROM ONE PAINTING, TO THE NEXT,
SINCE IT DEALS PRIMARILY WITH THE WHITES, FOUND IN SNOW .
When I first moved to North Idaho,
I spent the winter looking at the Cabinet Range, and all points between, from my studio windows
(which ran almost the entire length of the ranch house...
which was situated on 200 acres of land.)
It took me the ENTIRE winter
JUST LOOKING at the snow, asking myself:
What color IS IT? What color is snow? What color is "white?"
It just about drove me crazy. Because when asked a question,
your left brain (analytical side) will answer with very SIMPLE answers: "The snow is WHITE."
Boy, that doesn't help!
Keeping with the spirit of things
